Reconciliation and accounting

Choose a period

Go to ‘Finances’ → ‘Reconciliation’. Choose ‘This month’, ‘Last month’, ‘This year’ or your own dates. Dates are counted in Norwegian time.

The figures explained

‘Gross paid in’: everything that came in during the period, whatever the channel.

‘Refunds’: what has been paid back.

‘Fees’: fees deducted by the payment provider. The bank’s own fees for the KID agreement are not shown here — you find those in your online bank.

‘Net’: gross minus refunds and fees.

‘Paid out by provider’: what a payment provider (for example Vipps, once it arrives) has paid out to the club’s account.

‘In transit’: paid online but not yet paid out to the club. Bank payments and manual records are in the club’s account straight away and never appear here.

‘Not reconciled’: payments not matched to any invoice. Click the figure to go straight to them.

‘Unexplained’: the difference between what the provider says it has paid out and what the payments in Sportio add up to. It should be 0.

By channel and overpaid invoices

The ‘By channel’ table splits the figures into ‘Bank (KID)’, ‘Recorded manually’ and any online payments.

‘Overpaid invoices’ lists invoices where too much has been paid, whatever the period. Open them to refund the excess.

CSV for your accountant

‘Export CSV for the accountant’ downloads every payment and refund in the period. The file is in Norwegian; its columns are Dato (date), Type, Kanal (channel), Fakturanr (invoice number), KID, Betaler (payer), Beløp (amount), Gebyr (fee), Netto (net) and Merknad (note).

The file uses semicolons between fields and commas in amounts, so it opens correctly in Norwegian Excel. Refunds have a negative amount, and payments without an invoice are marked «Ikke avstemt» (Not reconciled).

If there was no activity in the period, Sportio tells you instead of downloading an empty file.
